“Devil Do You Remember Me”

A Personal word to our Precious Readers who are dedicated to the truths of God’s Endtime Message: You have an ear to hear and that is worth more than all the wealth of this world!  The Word is in you in the form of God’s own Soul.  Our flesh will die or else be changed, but the Soul is Eternal and will live forever in a different kind of body.  Many of you, I have never met, but your support of this ministry, as I try to present God’s revealed Word as given to His Prophet means more to me than I have words to express.  But know this My Friend, whatever good may be done for the Kingdom of God on Earth; He will not ever forget your part in it.  The Bride revival is not a one man show, neither is it being a Public Show, but our Father is watching it all.  I love you.  This is a message for the Bride.  There are Sermons for the Lost and for the Foolish Virgins and there are Sermons that only the Bride can receive.  No amount of culture or religious training can give spiritual understanding to the heart and mind.  We must be Divinely taught before we can understand the Word of God.  The truth is that the most illiterate babe in Christ has a capacity to understand Spiritual things that an unregenerate university graduate does not have.  The Plainest and Simplest Word of God is far above the reach of the natural mind.       Br.C.W.   Several weeks ago, I heard a sermon preached by Evangelist Tom Morse, who sets under Pastor David Morse of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, who is Tom’s blood Brother as well as his Spiritual Brother.  This is a church that over the years has turned out quite a number of ministers preaching our Endtime Message!  I have heard some of the others preach and their calling can’t be denied.  Br. Tom Morse’s message so impressed me that I asked him if I could use some of his material for this Monthly Sermon.  It has to do with the devil knowing exactly who the members of the Bride of Christ are!!  Our text Scriptures are found in Acts 19:11-16.  11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:  12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.  13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.  14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.  15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know and Paul I know; but who are ye?  16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

   In these Scriptures we see that the devil knew who the men were who had Power over him to Cast him out!  He knew the man, Jesus, and the man, Paul, but questioned the authority of the seven Sons of Sceva to cast him out!

   Perhaps we don’t question the fact that the devil knew Jesus had authority over him, but what about Paul?  Our natural mind might conclude that the devil also knew Paul because Paul had cast him out before, but I want to go deeper into our subject and show the real reason that Satan knew Paul, and also why he knows every member of the Bride of Christ!

   The first War that was ever fought was in Heaven.  It was a Spiritual war between God and His Angelic Beings and Lucifer and his angels.  Rev. 12: 7-9 tells the story of this war.  7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.  9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Luke 10: 17-18 17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.  18

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.  (Lucifer and his angels were cast out)

    Jude 1:6 “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”

   The Scriptures tell us who fought in this first war.  It was Michael (Jesus) and His Angels on one side.  Who were these Angelic Beings?  They were the creation of God as seen in Gen. 1:26-27, made in the image and likeness of God, (In a Theophany Body like God’s own body) who did not Fall and follow Lucifer!

   And who was the other group that Michael and His Angels fought against?  They were the Angelic Beings who had also been created perfect by God, but who chose to follow Lucifer.  All of God’s created human beings were Created Perfect, including Lucifer himself!        Ezek. 28:15 “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the

day thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”  At the same time, we were created Free Moral Agents, and would be required to choose our own destiny.  Two thirds of God’s creation chose to stay with their creator, but one third chose to join Lucifer’s rebellion.  Rev. 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon    stood before      the  woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  And so we see who the two armies were that met in Heaven in a great Spiritual war.  It was Michael and His angels that stayed in their own original habitation and believed their Creator!  This was one group!  

   The other group was the Angelic Beings that chose to follow Lucifer.  They had been created Perfect Beings also until they chose to disobey God!  Knowing what they were doing, they decided to follow Lucifer in his rebellion.  We can know that a loving Father warned as He warned Adam and Eve in Eden!!  Here is a revelation, the Decision that God’s Created Beings made in Heaven, before there was a world, was an Eternal Decision!  We were Eternal Beings and our final decision there was an eternal decision.  Let’s read that again in Jude 1:6 “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in Everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day.”  This Scripture says that their decision in Heaven was Everlasting or Eternal!!!  Now let’s get back to the title of our Sermon     “Devil, Do You Remember Me?”

   Can you believe that all the angels that God created were Perfect in their first estate?  It’s true.  Lucifer and his angels were once our Brothers!!!  But our Scripture says they left their first Estate or habitation.   Jude verse 13 calls them “Wandering Stars” foaming out their own shame.  And remember, our Scripture that we quoted in Rev. 12:4 called these beings that fell and followed Lucifer a one third part of the Stars of Heaven.  “And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and did cast them to the earth…”  Now let’s look again at our scripture in Rev. 12:7-9 “There was war in heaven and Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels” And so we ask the devil, “Devil, do you remember me???  The answer is Yes, he certainly does remember us as a part of   God’s army that put him out of Heaven.
