“THE FAITH OF LUCIFER”

   A personal note to our readers: Some of you may not know that our monthly sermons are being put on the internet by our good Brother J.T. Hise and Sister Mary Moore of West Plains. Mo.  What a powerful privilege they are providing Dewitt Tabernacle by this.  When our Lord gives a fresh Revelation, we can share it with other nations as well as our own.  And you, Our Readers who help with the finances are a very important part of the program.  We pray for you always and send our heartfelt thanks for your faithfulness. 

   As we draw closer and closer to our leaving time, the trials and pressure is increasing as our all-knowing Father sees our need of perfect Faith and goes about to lead us through circumstances that will produce it.  But those who have been converted by receiving the Holy Ghost will survive the Furnace that is being heated.  There will never be a trial that our Lord will not go through with us.  In our weakest time, He will give us whatever we need to stand.  We will never know in these bodies how much He loves us.  No man as yet knows how great He is and how Powerful is His love.

There is a Revelation that the Gracious Lord is giving to His Bride that is giving them a greatly needed boost in Faith.  The Revelation is found in a statement the Holy Ghost made in James 2:19.  “Thou believest that  there  is  one God;    

thou doest well: the devils also believe and tremble.”  This is a Simple, but very plain and Powerful doctrine of the Bible.  What this writer is Seeing here is that the Holy Ghost is telling us that the devils have Faith in God.   Notice the Word,

it says, they believe and tremble.  What is it that they believe that causes them to tremble?  It is God’s Word.  There is no doubt at all in their mind that Gods word is true.  For several thousand years now they have learned by hard experience that God’s Word is always Perfectly true!

   When God warned Lucifer that if he did not repent he would be cast out of Heaven, it happened exactly as spoken!  Ever since that time, the devils have learned by hard experience that every jot and tittle of God’s Word is factual and has never been known to Fail.  Down here on earth, the devils learned that every command that the man, Jesus Christ, gave them had to be obeyed or else they would be tormented before the time.  Do you remember in the Scripture when the devil asked the Lord, “Have you come to torment us before the time?”  They knew that any order given to them by the man, Jesus, had to be obeyed.

   Do we understand that this knowledge or this Knowing is what Faith is?  This is the Revelation that we need.   We need to understand that the devil has Faith in God’s Word.  We don’t have to try to make Satan believe the Word; it has already been Proven to him through the ages.

   Does it seem strange to you that the devils have Faith in God?  They believe the Word, more so Perhaps than some Christians.  They know the Word is true, and because they Sinned away their day of Grace, which was their Free Moral Agency, they now have no choice except to obey it.

   You and I are still Free Moral Agents, and will remain so unless we rebel as did the devil.  You may say to me, then if the devil has Faith in God why is he lost?  It’s because the Scripture says, “Faith without works is dead.”  The devil has no good works with his Faith, so his faith is dead, as far as being saved by it.  You and I have a choice about obeying  the Word of God, but not so with the devil.  He must obey it or be destroyed before the time God had set for it.

   Can we see now that we don’t need to spend time trying to get the devil to believe God’s Word?  There is no doubt in his mind at all about it.  He knows that God and all the hosts of Heaven will see to it that he obeys every Part of it.

   Now let us go a step further.  Just as the Words spoken by Jesus were God’s Words and had to be obeyed by the devil, so also does the devil have to obey God’s Word in our mouth.  It is Written in Luke 9:1-2, “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

   And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.”

   Notice the Scriptures, they teach  that  when the devils of sickness are cast out, the sick recover.  This is the teaching of New Testament Scripture.  When the strong man (the devil) was bound by a believer, then the sick got well.  Jesus said, “….How can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?...” (Matt. 12:29)

   It is going to be a very sad day at the White Throne Judgment when some people end up with not even as much Faith as the devils.  May I say that Believing the End-Time message will not get you up in the Rapture.  The devils believe it!  Do you think they are going to Heaven?

   I am sitting at my desk just now and looking out a picture window at a road that  goes by my house.  The road goes to the little town of St. Charles,   but it

won’t take you to St. Charles!  You must travel down the road in order to get there.  If you think the road will take you to St. Charles, then go out and sit down on the white line and see if you ever get there.

   And so we know that believing the End-Time Message will not get you up in the Rapture.  We must travel down the road of obedience to the message, and repent when we Fail. 

   The Revelation I want to pass on to whoever may not yet have it, is that every Word and Command of God spoken by God’s Born-again Church must be obeyed by the devils.  They know this but are constantly trying   to   hide  the    Fact     

From God’s Church.  But thank God we are now in the hour that all truth is being revealed to the Bride, and we are being set Free.

   One more thought before we close.  If we have the Faith to know that our Soul has been saved, then we also already  have  the  Faith to

Know we will be healed from every sickness.  The Bible teaches only One Faith, One Baptism, and One God.  Jesus said, “For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?” (Matt. 9:5)

   Letting us know that it is the same Faith and if we will believe it, we already have the Faith it takes to be healed.  It is the same Faith that lets us know our soul is Saved.
